For this gathering, we have rented out the beautiful Hidesert house, a desert oasis covering five acres in beautiful Yucca Valley, California, just minutes from Joshua Tree & the famous Integratron sound healing center. Amidst the natural setting of cactus & yucca trees surrounding the area, there are tons of spaces designed on the property for rest, relaxation, and connection. In your down time, take a dip in the pool, hop in the outdoor spa, cosy up by the fire, rest under the pomegranate tree, swing on the swingset, sway in hammocks, and dine together at the large outdoor wooden table under the starry skies. This unique property contains multiple stand-alone structures with various sleeping options to accommodate solo travelers, friends looking to share, and those looking for a bit more privacy during their stay.
YOUR LEADERS
MAGGIE is a graduate of Boston University with a degree in Advertising and Anthropology, Maggie began her career at the law firm of Greenberg Traurig during the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston abuse cases. From there she made the leap to New York City to pursue a career in film and television, working as producer on hit shows including Ugly Betty, Bored to Death and Gotham. She moved to Los Angeles last spring to join Clique Brands producing editorial video content for their websites Byrdie, Who What Wear and MyDomaine. Recently, Maggie left to begin a new venture as Co-Founder of the Deep Agency, a full service creative agency dedicated to defining and upholding the unique authenticity of our clients within the Wellness community. Maggie is a 200 RYT Yoga Instructor and Reiki Healer who uses her training to cope with the immense pressures of the fast-paced world of production.
KIM is a former corporate retail director turned wellness coach, Ayurveda lifestyle consultant, and natural foods chef. She is passionate about helping others have access to a more fulfilling life through authentic connection, true food, and community. Aside from working one-on-one with clients, Kim teaches group workshops on Ayurveda & food, cooks at two retreat centers in Sonoma County, and co-hosts retreats around the world that combine her passions for food, wellness, and travel. She is known for passing along a wild edible plant to you on a hike while saying, 'here, eat this.' Consider yourself warned!

Meals will be spear-headed by Kim and cooked together as a community. All meals cooked at home will be vegetarian based and honor the seasonal, local, and organic produce of the Yucca Valley and Los Angeles area. We definitely plan to hit up Pappy & Harriet's one night in Pioneertown for a local night out!

Since this is a pilot retreat, we will be co-creating the schedule, curating the experience you want as a female entrepreneur looking for a bit more community, connection, and support on your journey. The schedule will be left with plenty of open time to rest, enjoy the grounds, swim, soak up sun, and hot tub in the evenings.
